Skull Preparation |
| Preparing your trophy~ As soon as possible remove the head with a few inches of the neck still attached. We will clean it up and remove the last vertebra at the skull. A saw works well but you can use a knife to get to the bone and then grab the horns and twist. You may have to grunt a little. |

Storage and Shipping |
| Wrap the entire skull generously in newspaper. Use newspaper on the antler tips to protect them and keep the horns from piercing the packaging. You can also place newspaper in the bottom of the plastic bag to act as a sponge. I suggest you double bag in heavy plastic.
If possible freeze as soon as you can. Follow state laws regarding tagging your trophy! Place shipping form inside in a Ziploc bag. Box it up and mail it using whatever shipper you desire. On outside of box indicate "Taxidermy Items" We get animal heads from all over the US. We will notify you when your trophy arrives. |
